چکیده
A change in susceptibility to tumor transplantation with the use of two sarcomas is reported in this paper to have arisen concomitantly with the sudden reversal in the penetrance of polydactylism in mouse//46801 of the Strong Polydactylous strain. Mice of the subline derived from #46801 grew the tumors in only 68 and 78 per cent of the cases, whereas the same subline without the polydactylism reversal grew the tumors in 97 and 100 per cent of the cases. Studies of 957 polydactylous mice in six divergent maternal age descents derived from a common origin showed no significant difference in susceptibility to tumor "takes" except in the one subline which showed the polydactylism reversal.

Effect of Six Weeks of Interval Exercise Training along with Selenium Nanoparticle Ingestion on Bcl-2 and LC3 Genes expression in the Tumor Tissue of Breast Tumor–Bearing Mice
Introduction: Some factors such as exercise training and pharmacological interventions can slow tumor growth. To determine the underlying mechanisms, we investigated the effect of six weeks of interval exercise training along with ingestion on Bcl-2 and LC3 genes expression in the tumor tissue of breast tumor–bearing mice. Methods: Twelve female BALB/c mice were injected with cancer cell line a...
متن کاملI-43: Identification of SOX3 as an XX MaleSex Reversal Gene in Mice and Jumans
Background: Mammals utilise an XX/XY system of sex determination in which the Y-linked gene SRY (Sexdetermining region Y) exerts a dominant masculinising influence on sexual development. Sex chromosome homology and comparative sequence studies suggest that SRY evolved from the related SOX3 gene on the X chromosome, although there is no direct functional evidence to support this hypothesis. The ...

Mancozeb, a fungicide of a manganese-zinc ethylenebisdithio-carbamate (EBDC), was administered by gavage at doses of 200, 400, 600 and 800 mg/kg/day to female virgin mice for 30 days. The mice were autopsied on 31st day. Mice were also treated with similar doses for a period of 30 days and the treatment was withdrawn for a further period of 30 days for reversible study. The mice were autopsied...
متن کاملThe effects of interval aerobic training on mesenchymal biomarker gene expression, the rate of tumor volume, and cachexia in mice with breast cancer
Objective(s): It seems that regular exercise can have inhibitory effects on the progression of breast cancer. This study, therefore, aimed to investigate the influences of interval aerobic training on mesenchymal biomarker gene expression, muscle cachexia, and tumor volume changes in mice with breast cancer.Materials and Methods: Thirty-...
متن کاملEffect of 10 Weeks of Continuous Aerobic Training on Tumor Volume and Gene Expression of IGF-1, Akt, and mTORC1 in the Myocardium of Mice with Breast Cancer
Introduction:Regular exercise training inhibits tumor growth and prevents cardiomyopathy in breast cancer patients by activating signaling pathways leading to changes in gene expression. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of 10 weeks of continuous aerobic training on tumor volume and expression of IGF-1, Akt, mTORC1 genes in the myocardium of mice with breast cancer...
